And
it's a good day! I noticed something that I wanted to share with fellow Special Ed department peoples... today is National Special
Education Day!
💕💕 That's a special day for us... high fives...oops, nope (covid!), air high fives to everyone!!
If
I could, I'd have fritters delivered to everyone, because-yes- it's
National Fritter day. No one deserves it more than all of you.
And for those of you not in SPED, I still love ya - I'd send you one too. ❤️❤️
and
just to be clear ... not all fritters are sweet. Some are savory (or
not sweet, lol) I found one that looks very appetizing -
shrimp and zucchini fritters.
Have anyone made fritters? I always hesitate to fry stuff... sigh.
I
found this little tidbit on Mr. Brooks site... (I'm a little bit of a
sap, it made me cry) but I think it pertains to special ed day.
On a separate note - In case you haven't noticed or heard, it's Light The World time. There is so much to be thankful for in our world...and so many people in need. Please take a moment and reflect on the Savior and His love for all. I have a sweet little neighbor that is 90 years old, but she still watches out for us. Still calls us and wishes us happy Thanksgiving, and gives us treats for Christmas... I think of her as a sweet angel on earth. We have another neighbor that is so soft spoken, so kind in her interactions with others, that I'm amazed she is still with us. She is such an example of the pure of love of Christ... I want to be like her when I grow up. Who do you admire most?
Hope you have an awesome day!
