Memories
Today is Memorial Day, for anyone who happened to forget what day of the week it was...grin.
It's a gorgeous day, and I hope everyone gets a chance to spend some time outside and with families.
It's a day worth remembering, and worth creating memories.
It's this day each year that I wish I could go visit my father's grave -- but it's in California, and I've never seen anything but photos of it. My hubby says one year we'll go and visit it, but we haven't been able to find the time or money. Some day.
But after a day of working in our yard, we're gonna head over to my sisters and have a BBQ with family. We look forward to this every year, and I ponder the idea that some day it will be my children coming to my house with their own children. It blows the mind.
I just wish my parents were around to see their grandchildren -- but yet, they can see them. I just wish the kids could see them. sigh.
Have a wonderful day, and I hope you are able to honor those who paved the way for where we are.
Happy Memorial Day.
Love ya, Dad.

I was missing being able to go to my grandparent's graves today. It's a good day to remember those people we love.
I posted info about my new Ribbon Box on my blog, it’s so neat! If you’d like to see details, please stop by!
Hope you had a good time ... and didn't get sore muscles working in the yard.
