I'm Not Sure About That...
I just finished a book by Richard Paul Evans called A Perfect Day. I usually like his books, I like his style of writing, but this one totally set me back. I'm not sure what I want out of writing now.
I want to be published, but I've never had any illusions that I would become a best seller. I just want to have my books get out there.
Anyone who wants to be an author should read this book and think of where they want to go with their writing. It's a cautionary tale, and it's going to be with me for a long time.
It also makes me wonder if he's still part of the church or if that's just the way he felt best to get the message across. At least going to the national market he hasn't given in to the language or smut...lol
